Panel Discussion on the Importance of HR's role in M&A

This program has been approved for 1.5 HR Business HRCI recertification credits and 1.5 SHRM recertification credits.

Mergers and acquisitions (M&As) are a key tool that businesses use to meet organizational objectives and grow. And unfortunately, many times human resources (HR) involvement comes too late in the M&A process, thus resulting in increased costs, unnecessary turnover, miscommunications, corporate culture clashes, and sometimes, even a complete merger failure.
Join NOVA SHRM on October 6th for a panel discussion on the importance of managing “people issues” in the context of M&As. Our panel will explore ways that HR teams can proactively support the M&A process to enhance business success. Through an exchange of viewpoints, each of our panel members will bring their experience and expertise to help other HR professionals navigate the M&A process and support business goals.

Learning Objectives:
  • Understand HR’s role in the M&A process
  • Learn strategies for proactively supporting the M&A process while achieving HR goals along the way
  • Learn from the experiences of other HR professionals who have navigated M&As
