Cybersecurity remains at the forefront of hot topics in federal contracting. This seminar will address DFARS and FAR cybersecurity standards, including the new regulations that went into effect on December 31st. This seminar will also provide an overview of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which harmonizes data privacy laws across Europe and protects the data privacy of all EU residents, and will take effect on May 25, 2018.

Learning Objectives:

Federal contractors face increasing regulatory obligations for protecting data from cyber-attacks. HR must play an integral role in understanding that risk. The HR team as a key stakeholder must be versed in the latest regulatory changes so they can play a strategic role in protecting their organizations.
