PROGRAM INFORMATION

‼️ This program has been submitted to HRCI and SHRM for review.

Teams that are newly formed often experience challenges coming together to work as a common unit. As HR leaders, we usually have great strategies in place for on-boarding individuals, but on-boarding a team can be more complex. Team Relationship Systems Intelligence (Team RSI) – created by Anne Rod and Marita Fritjhon – is a model for shaping and structuring team work together in a way that benefits the team, the organization, and the people they serve. This workshop will provide an overview of what Team RSI is, showcase a case study using Team RSI from the City of Alexandria, and provide an opportunity for you to experience Team RSI in action.

Program Benefits

Seasoned HR Practitioners will learn about the applicability of Team RSI to the organization’s HR Strategy, and questions to examine with senior business partners when designing Team RSI initiatives for teams they charter. (These benefits are in addition to those highlighted below for associate/mid-level and entry-level HR Practitioners).

Associate or mid-level HR Practitioners will learn criteria for when Team RSI may be an appropriate strategy, and be able to identify the internal and external resources necessary for Team RSI success. (These benefits are in addition to those highlighted below for entry-level HR Practitioners).

Entry-level HR Practitioners will learn about Team RSI – what it is and the components that comprise it – and why it can be an effective approach.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Identify what Team RSI is and its five elements.
  2. Articulate criteria for when Team RSI may be a good fit for the team and organization, in addition to the tools/resources necessary for project success.
  3. Understand the applicability of Team RSI to the organization’s HR Strategy and Team RSI’s connection to team performance for its respective business unit.
