PROGRAM INFORMATION

‼️ This program has been approved for 1.0 HRCI and SHRM credits.

Program Details:

HR leaders cannot meaningfully manage the risk of liability for claims of workplace sexual harassment without considering the impact of the #me too movement that has emerged as part of our public discourse in the past year.  Kara Ariail, an employment law partner with Holland & Knight LLP, will offer practical advice and strategic guidance for implementing necessary changes to your organization’s policies and protocols for preventing sexual harassment and responding to complaints.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Participants will understand why and how current events have shaped how we should prevent and address harassment in the workplace.
  2. Participants will learn how to affect a meaningful shift within their organization, from addressing sexual harassment as a matter of legal compliance to addressing sexual harassment as a matter of workplace culture.
  3. Participants will learn strategies for securing leadership buy-in to implement necessary changes in the workplace.
  4. Participant will learn strategies for successfully responding to complex situations such as complaints brought against senior decision-makers and complaints of remote-in-time allegations.
