Making Sense of Salary Surveys: Understanding and Analyzing Market Data

Presenter: Doug Lwin
 This program is pending approval for HRCI and SHRM recertification credits.

A 90-minute hands-on practical presentation that teaches participants how to read and interpret surveys with a critical-eye and how to use survey data to determine an organization’s competitive position within the market and formulate pay recommendations. The program is designed for any HR professional that works with compensation surveys and any HR professional looking to better understand survey data and how to leverage it.

 

Manager as Coach

Presenter: Freddi Donner

A coaching approach helps managers move from being the expert and having all the answers (and answering challenging problems) to a question based approach to open conversations, as well as to create the space for others to think and explore. Having an answer ends a conversation, but using questions keeps the dialogue going and helps people learn to think on their own. As a certified coach, Freddi will share the importance of understanding which types of questions to use when, and which question to avoid.
