Program Details:

Many organizations struggle with how to fully engage their employees, yet research has demonstrated that organizations that invest in employee engagement are paid back with better performance, greater productivity, fewer absences and accidents, and lower turnover.

Learning Objectives:

In this session, we will provide an introduction and tips for each stage of the employee engagement life-cycle including:

  1. Measuring engagement: Participants will learn best practices in using surveys, focus groups, and other methods to understand employee engagement and diagnose specific engagement challenges in their organization.
  2. Action planning: Participants will receive tips, resources, and templates to develop action plans that facilitate employee engagement.
  3. Enhancing engagement through human capital programs: Participants will learn about the types of human capital initiatives that are linked to higher levels of employee engagement in organizations, such as career development and reward/recognition programs. Tips to ensure successful implementation of such programs will be discussed, including methods for holding managers and business units accountable for translating action plans into a more engaged workforce.
